Kino Expo showed us, how big is the potential for cinema automation in Russia and other countries of Eastern Europe. And the Russian language version of the system POSitive Show aroused real interest of the visitors.
It was our first exhibition at Russian Kino Expo. It was five days (19-23 September) of intense program, meetings with potential clients and partners and participation in accompanying conferences as Kino Expo is third largest international cinema industry convention in the world, the biggest in the region of Commonwealth of Independent States and Baltic countries.
As we expected, many visitors from Russia were highly interested in tools for cinema automation, such as our solution covering areas of customer service, show scheduling, digital signage etc. We had many conversations about improving effectiveness of cinema chain management together with reduction of costs – says Grzegorz Siewiera, president of the supervisory board of LSI Software, who was at the show – Software, which enables e.g. managing advertising campaign in a cinema in Krasnoyarsk directly from the central in Moscow was a real novelty for the majority of our interlocutors.
Visitors highly appreciated the fact, that our system POSitive Show has its complete Russian language version. Unlike the majority of cinema software solutions in the world, which is only in English, our product has its refined national versions, which makes using it much, much easier for the rank and file. Especially in CIS, there is a number of cinema employees, for whom it is a key issue.
Our team for Eastern European markets will be developed to meet the needs for POSitive Show, which we observed during exhibitions.
